From Young Women’s Leadership School of East Harlem:

I’m smart, caring and a good friend, with many hopes and dreams.

My iPhone is named Scott Ramon and my favorite transformer is Megatron.

I don’t know what I want to do when I get older but I am very open-minded to learning new things.

My name is Carolina. I go to The Young Women Leadership School of East Harlem and I’m currently in the ninth grade. I am a kinesthetic student, love learning new things and meeting new people. I am a jolly young woman who always is smiling and tries to have a good time each minute that passes by. I am a person who is very determined, honest and responsible.

“Memories are ways of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, and the things you never want to lose.”

People say I’m intriguing, funny, weird, and very talkative.

Completely honest and one of the most optimistic people you will ever meet!

My name is Jessica. I am currently 14 years old, and I am a freshman at The Young Women’s Leadership School in East Harlem. I am very interested in this GTG program because I really like how I could express my feelings about high school. Although I do not know my future yet, I am very interested in being a pharmacist.

Hi! My name is Jovan and I’m in the 9th grade, currently 14, 15 in July. I would like to write young adult novels and be a therapist (only for kids) when I get out of high school.

I am 14 years old and I am currently a Freshman in High School. My goal in life is to become a Forensic Anthropologist.

While running this race, I know there’ll be many things we’ll lose, like our breath and our strength, but I know that no matter what I lose, I’ll finish this race. My name is Mariah (or Riah) and writing is my passion, an escape from reality.
I don’t really know where I belong in life, and I simply hope to tumble upon the correct path and find my destined future. I enjoy writing and creating stories that mean something and will be kept in the minds of people.

I am Maya, and I am a freshman in The Young Women’s Leadership School of East Harlem. I live in the Bronx and I love to sing and write songs.
Ravyn

Hi, my name is Ravyn. I attend The Young Womens Leadership School, aka TYWLS. My favorite color is green and I love to have a good time. I am very serious about school and my future, and that’s why I joined this blog.

I love to dance and talk a lot, although I am very shy when it comes to meeting new people. Hanging out with my friends is one of the things that I love to do, and I’ve also played the violin for the past seven years. I have three younger sisters from blood and an older sister and brother from adoption. I love the outdoors, and I laugh a whole lot for little things.

I’m short & once you get to know me you can judge for yourself!

I really can’t deny it, I am who I am. I’m pretty normal. I’m not that smooth type of girl. I run into things, I trip, I spill food. I say stupid things… I really don’t have it all together.

“One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.”
