My name is Carolina. I go to The Young Women Leadership School of East Harlem and I’m currently in the ninth grade. I am a kinesthetic student, love learning new things and meeting new people. I am a jolly young woman who always is smiling and tries to have a good time each minute that passes by. I am a person who is very determined, honest and responsible.

My name is Jessica. I am currently 14 years old, and I am a freshman at The Young Women’s Leadership School in East Harlem. I am very interested in this GTG program because I really like how I could express my feelings about high school. Although I do not know my future yet, I am very interested in being a pharmacist.

Hi! My name is Jovan and I’m in the 9th grade, currently 14, 15 in July. I would like to write young adult novels and be a therapist (only for kids) when I get out of high school.

While running this race, I know there’ll be many things we’ll lose, like our breath and our strength, but I know that no matter what I lose, I’ll finish this race. My name is Mariah (or Riah) and writing is my passion, an escape from reality.

I don’t really know where I belong in life, and I simply hope to tumble upon the correct path and find my destined future. I enjoy writing and creating stories that mean something and will be kept in the minds of people.

Hi, my name is Ravyn. I attend The Young Womens Leadership School, aka TYWLS. My favorite color is green and I love to have a good time. I am very serious about school and my future, and that’s why I joined this blog.

I love to dance and talk a lot, although I am very shy when it comes to meeting new people. Hanging out with my friends is one of the things that I love to do, and I’ve also played the violin for the past seven years. I have three younger sisters from blood and an older sister and brother from adoption. I love the outdoors, and I laugh a whole lot for little things.

My name is Branson. I was born on September 6, 1994. I live in Brooklyn with my mom and dad and my two sisters. I go to FDNY H.S. When I grow up I want to be a baseball player because I like playing it and you can make lots of money.

Brian

I’m Brian, born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. I like to listen to old school rap. I play baseball in my free time. I want to become an EMT, then become a firefighter.

Dustin

My name is Dustin. I am a huge baseball fan. Go Yankees. When I grow up, I hope to play for the Yankees, but if I don’t, I would like to coach Little League. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters.

I am a positive and hard working young lady. Life has thrown many blows at me and they have made me stronger and more determined to go to college.

My name is Jose. I am 14 becoming 15 on May 28. I mostly enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time with my girlfriend and friends, and I really enjoy riding roller coasters.

My name is Justin. I’m the younger of two. I’ve lived in Brooklyn all my life. I’m 14 years old. In my house, there is my mom, dad, brother, cousin, aunt, uncle and me. In my spare time, I like to listen to music, play football and help people in need.

Natifiah

My name is Natifiah, also known as Orange Juice, and I’m from Miami, Florida. I’m 15, and my parents are from the Bahamas and Haiti. My grades are okay to me but can be better. I’m caring, loving, honest, truthful, intelligent, creative and outspoken. I love English, social studies, basketball and just being me.

My name is Parris. I am 6’4’’ in the 9th grade. I am 15 years old and I am from America. I am a respectful gentleman and I go to church sometimes.
