Attendance
“School is boring, I have more important things to do.”
That’s how it usually starts, “school isn’t where i want to be,” but the outcome is almost always the same. In the end a phrase that you are likely to hear is “I wish that…” Why? Is it because a goal goes unaccomplished? Yes, but not necessarily. I know plenty of people who are succesful who cut class but at the end of the day they wish that they did not cut school freshman or sophomore year because they would have been that much more successful. The idea entering high school is, “oh my freshman year doesn’t really matter, what colleges will look at is my senior year.” Well, I’ll have you know you have to submit your full transcript to colleges. Your transcript contains a record of all four years of your high school career. So when you think that your presence in school is not essential keep this fact in mind. It is essential.

I totally agree with this blog, many people don’t realize the mistake they are doing until it too late. Getting an education is so much easier when you’re young because your brain is still developing and everything is bound to stink in like a sponge. I advise many student like myself to not cut class because the result of cutting class is an epic fail!

I concur with this statement because when many students first enters high school, they tend to disregard the fact that you essentially builds up your grade point average. Likewise, in many occasions the way a student start of his or her high school year will basically determine whether your grade point average will be extremely high or average. Many people also tend to brainwashed with the idea that your eleventh grade year is the most important year. I slightly disagree with that idea because if you start of really awful and apt to be indifferent about your transcript average because you will be able to ascend your grade point average. In contrast, the hardest thing to do in high school is trying to boost of your transcript average, unless you are receiving over a 95% every marking period that would guarantee you a chance that you will be able to improve your transcript grade. In essence, your grade point average at the end of your junior year will be same average that you are likely going to apply to college with. Subsequently, your entire four years in high school plays an essential role in terms of your grape point average and applying to colleges; all four grade would be looked at by administration not only one particular year.
